Angler’s Paradise / Border Trail Tournament Cash Prize Contest

Official Eligibility, Registration, Rules & Prizes

  1. Eligibility
    • The contest is open to individuals 16 years of age or older.
    • Participants must be subscribed to the Anglers Paradise YouTube Channel
      (youtube.com/@Anglers-Paradise).
    • Each participant may submit one (1) entry only.
    • Participants must provide accurate and complete registration information.
    • By entering, participants agree to comply with all contest rules and decisions made by contest officials.
  2. How to Register
    • Contestants must complete the official registration form available at:
      fishingwithjimaustin.com
    • All required information must be submitted before the announced deadline.
    • Required registration information includes:
      • Full Name
      • Email Address
      • Phone Number
      • Age
    • A confirmation email will be sent after successful registration.
  3. Contest Overview

    This contest is conducted in conjunction with the Border Trail fishing tournament hosted by Angler’s Paradise / Border Trail.

    Each participating boat in the tournament will be assigned a unique boat number by the Tournament Director. Contestants must select one (1) boat number and submit the required weight guesses.

  4. Definition of the “Winning Boat”

    The Winning Boat is defined as:

    The boat with the highest, total cumulative weight of all fish caught by all fishermen on that boat.

    The total boat weight is calculated by adding together the official recorded weight of every fish caught on that boat during the tournament.

    All weights are determined using official tournament scales, and all determinations made by tournament officials are final and binding.

  5. Prize Structure & Winning Criteria

    First Place – $3,000 Cash Prize

    Awarded to any contestant who correctly matches all three (3) of the following:

    1. The Winning Boat number
    2. The exact total cumulative weight of the Winning Boat
    3. The exact weight of the largest (“Big Fish”) caught on the Winning Boat

    Second Place – $1,000 Cash Prize

    If no First Place winner is declared, Second Place will be awarded to any contestant who correctly matches:

    1. The Winning Boat number
    2. The exact total cumulative weight of the Winning Boat

      3. (Big Fish weight is not required for Second Place.)

    Third Place – $250 Cash Prize

    If no First or Second Place winner is declared, Third Place will be awarded to the contestant who:

    1. Correctly selects the Winning Boat number, and
    2. Submits the Big Fish weight guess that is closest to the official Big Fish weight recorded for the Winning Boat.
  6. Multiple Winners
    If multiple contestants qualify for the same prize level, the prize money for that level will be divided evenly among all qualifying winners.
  7. Live Weigh-Ins & Winner Announcements
    • Live tournament weigh-ins will be streamed at announced times via:
      @AnglersParadise2025 and
      professionalweekendangler.com
    • Contest winners will be announced within 48 hours following the completion of tournament weigh-ins.

I, hereby waive and release the Border Trail, Anglers Paradise, United Professional Weekend Anglers(UPWA), sponsors, hosts, officials and other contestants participating in this event and activities from all claims of liability, resulting from Personal injury, damage, lost or stolen property while participating in this event and activities.

By signing this form I agree that in the event of my involvement in a rule violation, I will abide by all rulings involving disqualification or sanctions as Imposed by Border Trail, Anglers Paradise and United Professional Weekend Anglers. I confirm that I am not a Full-time Angler and/or Fishing Guide. The Border Trail, Anglers Paradise and UPWA reserve the right to refuse or reject Applications by promptly returning an Applicant’s entry fees.
