Meet Foster Bolton

Public Relations-Tournament Director

Foster Bolton

I’m a devoted enthusiast and passionate bass angler. My journey began in early childhood, creek fishing with my grandmother. I still remember catching a large catfish on one of those early outings —and I’ve been hooked on the sport ever since.

After purchasing my first bass boat, I joined the Atlanta-based Metro Atlanta Hawghunters Bass Club; being a part of that organization helped me hone my skills and deepen my understanding of competitive bass fishing.

With a background in Business Management, I’ve had the privilege of serving as president, vice president, and tournament director for the club. My competitive spirit—shaped by years of involvement in sports—naturally found a home in bass fishing.

After stepping away from the business world, I became a certified tennis instructor, which has been incredibly fulfilling. It allows me to stay active and continue embracing my love for competition.

Most recently, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to work alongside my dear friend, Jim Austin, founder of the renowned Border Trail—Home of the Professional Weekend Anglers. As tournament director and head of public relations, I stay busy doing what I love. These roles have given me the chance to meet and collaborate with some of the best and kindest anglers across the United States.
